It's been over a month since MightyMeld’s open beta launched. We've been surprised at the turnout and have learned tons. We are so grateful for the community's support.
Along with finding and fixing many small bugs, feedback has guided us to make some small improvements to the developer experience. Along with these updates, we are proud to announce a few new convenience features that are now live.
Easier URL Editing
You've long been able to change your app's route while it runs, but not many people knew about it! Now it's as easy as clicking the URL and typing.
Remix Support
We got asked a lot about Remix, which we didn't support at launch. We now have experimental support, thanks to an esbuild plugin we built and shipped to support frameworks such as Remix.

Component Creation Updates
We have also enhanced the component creation experience.
Previously, you couldn't add delete/files in MightyMeld, which left developers reaching for VS Code (or their favorite alternative) when it came to making components. Now you can make files for your new components directly in MightyMeld, and also start out with a blank component and build up from there.
The user interface for component creation has also been improved. You will now receive feedback when using invalid file names or component names, and the dialog/menu flow has been adjusted. Creating a component by dragging and dropping existing JSX is smoother than ever.
